Conservation and life in Borneo

L-R: Beyri, Gloria, Darvi & Daniel

I love teaching English and I particularly enjoy teaching English for Specific Purposes, something I get plenty of chance to do at Sepilok. In the activity above, the learners were learning the language required to deal with the questions they may be confronted with from members of the public and volunteers, laced with a heavy dose of bear-related vocabulary. It is very rewarding to see them producing the target language in the classroom; I only wish that I could be here longer to give them more help and to see them deal with the first official visitors.
