Go Ape

Dr Hicks is the one on the right.

Thanks to Dr. Nigel Hicks, I was able to go apeshit this week, insomuch as I was able to participate in an orangutan parasitology workshop. In the workshop we practised various techniques to search for parasites and their eggs in samples of orangutan faeces. It was actually quite fun to spend some time behind a microscope again. Many thanks to Dr. Hicks; he did this workshop out of his own initiative and gave excellent instruction. Certainly an afternoon well-spent.
